Ventnor
The terraces of the Spyglass Inn situated at the end of the esplanade. Highly recommended for food or for a pleasant pint {see Pub guide} with fresh air and great views overlooking Ventnor bay and beach area.
Oceanblue Quay Cafe' and directly behind Cheetah Marine - this new build on what was previously car parking spaces was very controversial and took years to go through planning and acceptance, looks better than I thought it would though, see favourite pictures for another view.
Situated towards the end of the esplanade The Ale & Oyster specialises in all sorts of fresh fish, also nice for a pint especially if the weather's fine.......
"These Cascade Gardens were designed circa 1900 by Edgar J Harvey Town Surveyor for 19 years. b1856 d.1943". The bridge in the foreground has been rebuilt this year as part of the refurbishment of the adjacent toilets.
