The Spyglass Inn, Ventnor Esplanade

The Spyglass Inn entrance

Entrance to The Spyglass Inn showing its very very small car park {the small area to the right where the black car is parked is chained off to the public that section is for staff/owners}. Simply park on the Esplanade prior to here or up the hill on the immediate right and park at the Car Park - all pay and display. This is the only entrance to the pub.

The full length of the terraces and The Boathouse can just be seen at the end. Above and to the left of The Spyglass is the pay and display car park, there are some nice views from here as well. This was taken on a hot and hazy day.

Ventnor beach is featured and recommended in our Beaches guide.

The Spyglass can get very very busy in peak season and at peak eating times so do bear this in mind. When very busy they do have many staff and are usually geared up for the demand placed upon them. Advanced table reservations is not possible.

Sometimes on a hot and humid day if the conditions are right {we have only seen this once at such a low level} sea fog drifts in to the bay.....see miscellaneous 5 gallery.
