The Spyglass Inn is the oldest property on the
Esplanade and is the place to chill out on a fine day and have a beer or
some food for that matter.

picture and there is also The Boathouse at the end. Great views across the
Victorian Esplanade and beach from here. It is very popular with food

Handy if everywhere else is full or if there is a chilly wind {and there is no
space within the pub} and the kids can amuse themselves safely.
