The Village Inn, located in the heart of the village. This pub and others are lit up at night during the holiday season and quite a few of the gift shops are open till evening time during peak season. A handfull of craft/gift shops are open down the small road past The Village Inn {above}.

Just one of the tea rooms available and many have pleasant gardens as well as prices being quite reasonable.

Vernon Cottage {Tavern} which used to be just a tea room but is now a small pub as well. The front garden is very small but the larger garden with more seats with a small enclosed childrens playground is at the side. There are some tables under cover outside, handy if there is a shower.

The Village Inn and behind it Holliers Bar and Hotel as viewed from looking out from The Crab Inn.  As well as a small nightclub {Holliers} and three pubs there are a few restaurants and a fish 'n' chip shop to this pretty little village. 

Towards the weekend and especially at the weekends there is live music at 2 or 3 of the pubs in the village and if it is fine it is held outside - Holliers for example.
