Far West of Blackgang c1990

I cannot remember what this wall was for, but the cliff edge was fast approaching the other side of it. This area now no longer exists - it was to the far right of The Water Gardens.

The red dot indicates houses that have been demolished up to that point. I have just found this out by counting the large peaks of the houses in this and the next picture which was taken with a 300mm lense some 12 years later.

These houses although suffer from relativley slow erosion in that part surely are counting their days.

Taken with a 300mm lense a garden wall can be seen at the very cliff edge.

Merlins Bistro

On the same West side but closer to Blackgang than the houses pictured earlier is Merlins Bistro. Although not in emmediate danger but safe for how much longer?
