
After a sell-out successful launch in 2011, Wolverton Manor, Shorwell will once again provide the stunning backdrop to this exciting Island event. The Wolverton Folk & Blues Fair will take place on Saturday 12th May 2012.
The live music stage will provide a full programme, featuring the best of the Island’s Folk & Blues musicians, from acoustic duos to full electric bands, including Beachcomber, Lucid, The Whisky River Band, Scarecrow, MoonShiners, Rachel’s Reason, Grizzled Skipper, Jamie Griffin, The Herd and The DollyMopps.
The family friendly event will include tented cafes, serving an interesting variety of freshly cooked local produce. With an IW real ale beer tent, BBQ, Tea tent serving cream teas & cakes plus children’s activities, and even a Zumba workshop, Wolverton Folk & Blues Fair looks set to be a celebration of all that’s good about our Island’s local food & music talent. In aid of Leukaemia Research and Brighstone School.

At Osborne House Sunday 3 – Tuesday 5 June 10am - 5pm. Celebrate the Diamond Jubilee at the Isle of Wight's own Royal Palace, Osborne House. Travel back in time to Victorian England and join in the festivities surrounding the arrival of Queen Victoria. Wave your flag and enjoy the colourful pomp and ceremony of the grand parade led by the lancers and Red Coats. Including the skills and thrills of an equestrian show, traditional Victorian funfair, brass band and a host of colourful characters from the past.
