Packhorse Bridge at Slippery Stones takes the visitor over the river Derwent feeding the start of the Howden reservoir.
Looking at the picture on the left is back to King's Tree and following the path right up a gradient takes you on the other side of both dams eventually gettong back to the Derwent dam and Fairholmes V.C.
There are further footpaths off this area that lead towards the moors.
